A traveller, complete bookworm and a talented actress, Sriti is so much more than Fuggi!

Actress Sriti Jha turns 30 today. The lovely lady made her debut on TV a decado ago with Dhoom Machhao Dhoom. Sriti acted in a spate of shows but it was her riveting performance as Jhanvi Dobriyal in Dil Se Di Dua…Saubhagyavati Bhava that made everyone sit up and take notice of her. Currently, she is wowing TV viewers with her act of Pragya on Kumkum Bhagya. Here is a sneak peek at what makes her quite hatke…

Dreamy persona
The lady said on Zing’s Bad Company how she fancied living with a special someone on a cottage on a hilltop. Whether it is a quote from one of her favourite authors or a picture with an interesting caption, Sriti’s Twitter account reveals her imaginative personality. She has a very old world charm about her.

Avid reader There are few women in TV town who love books. When someone mentions voracious readers, the two names that instantly come to our minds are Mouni Roy and Sriti Jha. You can expect her to quote the Victorian writers or modern greats anytime anywhere. We guess one of her favourites is Haruki Murakami.

  Full of wanderlust The lady loves to travel. Though she does not bombard us with snaps from her trips abroad, the little she shows hint at some truly exotic holidays. Whether it’s the beaches of Guyana near Venezuela or a pose on the streets of Prague, the lady is comfortable travelling alone. And there are few people more fascinating than the solitary traveller. And she has some quirky lines to go with her pictures.

Classy dresser She might not be attending every TV party in town but whenever Sriti enters a venue, heads do turn. One of the recent examples is the TV awards where she rocked the red carpet in a black gown with minimal makeup. She knows how to make the simplest of outfits look good.
