The curious case of Pratyusha Banerjee’s unexpected death continues…While the police is ruling out her death stating it’s a clear case of suicide owing to financial depression. Pratyusha’s friends are now fighting for justice, arguing that the actress didn’t hang herself out of choice but was provoked to die by her ‘supposed’ lover Rahul Raj Singh. Yes! In fact the latest we hear is from Pratyusha’s friend Leena Dias who in her interview with Hindustan Times has further revealed how Pratyusha had called her in the early hours of Friday(the day when she died) saying she cannot live like this and wants to fight back against Rahul and his ex-girlfriend Saloni Sharma. Dias also suggested how Pratyusha for the longest time wanted to file a case against Rahul’s ex for harassing her. Says Leena, “She was crying when she called me at 2:30 am. She said she cannot live like this. She wanted to fight back. She complained that Rahul was not taking any action against his ex-girlfriend.”

In a press con held yesterday, Pratyusha’s friend-actress Kamya Punjabi too echoed the same opinion about Rahul and his ex saying, “Pratyusha called me a few days ago and told me she needed to get out of her relationship.” Where producer Vikas Gupta too added, “There is a lot of evidence that Rahul had physically assaulted Pratyusha. There was this one party, where he had slapped her and many people knew about it. We will show the evidence when the time comes. There were marks on her face and nose.”
