Famous Indian television celebrity, Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide yesterday in her Mumbai apartment. The actress, whose claim to fame was her famous role as Anandi in Balika Vadhu, hanged herself from the ceiling fan and killed herself. Ever since the news has broken out, a lot of conspiracy theories have been doing the rounds suggesting that it was not a suicide but a murder. And among the reports, her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh remains prime target of accusation. Sources reported that things weren’t going well between Pratyusha and Rahul and his infidelity resulted in the actress taking such a drastic step.

Celebs from the TV fraternity were the first ones to make it to the hospital and reportedly, Rahul Raj Singh was the one who brought Pratyusha’s body to the hospital but she was pronounced dead. While reports suggested that it was Rahul’s alleged affair with a TV actress, Dolly Bindra confirmed the news by stating that it was true. His affair with Saloni Sharma, a TV actress, caused Pratyusha heartbreak resulting in her death. Bindra quoted, “Rahul was involved with a girl named Saloni Sharma and this might be a reason behind the ugly spat between Pratyusha and Rahul. It is shocking news for the entire industry.”

However, when Daily.bhaskar.com contacted Saloni, she refuted all the claims. She quoted, “I do not have any involvement with this case. I don’t know why people are taking my name. I have never spoken to Pratyusha. All the allegations are baseless. It was the matter between two people; Pratyusha and Rahul. I was never involved between them. Also, the news about me dating Rahul is totally false.” A lot of actors from the TV fraternity are also stating that it wasn’t a suicide but a planned murder. Meanwhile, when question Rahul Raj Singh about the death of his girlfriend, a source told us that he absconded over fear of Pratyusha’s friends in the industry.
