Happiness is when you come to know that Vishal Dadlani will sing Bare Necessities for The Jungle Book's Hindi version!

Woo hoo! Time to rejoice Jungle Book fans! Read on…

The Jungle Book has been on everybody’s mind ever since the film’s trailers surfaced on social media. Oh s%*ew that, it has one of the most stellar cast in Hindi and English as well! In English the movie has voices Ben Kingsley, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Bill Murray, Christopher Walken and many more. In Hindi, we have Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar, Om Puri, Shefali Shah and Bugs Bhargava. So you can imagine how grand the film is going to be. In fact, a lot pre show reviews have also lauded the film for its larger than life feel. The Hindi version of the film’s trailer too has been received very well. The film has been trending for over two weeks now, for Christ’s sake!

And guess what, we just found out that among the six stellar voices from B-Town, even Vishal Dadlani will be joining the hub! The singer/music composer will be singing the famous song, Bare Necessities that was originally created by Terry Gilkinson which was even nominated at the Oscar’s for Best Original Song. When quizzed about the song, the singer was overjoyed by the fact that even his voice was a part of this mega film. He said, “It’s a privilege that I can be a part of such a timeless song, but the original has been so hugely popular and hummable that matching that standard seems like a daunting task. I really hope people like my version of ‘The bare necessities.’”
