The superstar reportedly went to MIOT hospital in Chennai

Thailaivar Rajinikanth is currently very busy with his upcoming gangster film Kabali. The actor has already shot several sequences in Malaysia and he just wrapped a hectic, action packed schedule and returned to India. However, it seems that all is not well the Superstar.

Apparently there were news reports circulating that the actor was not keeping well and so had visited the MIOT hospital in Chennai along with his daughter. There were also rumors that the shooting for Kabali has really tired him out and that the doctors there had advised him complete rest for the next one week. A few years back, there was a similar news that Rajinikanth was hospitalised, which had caused a very tense situation in Chennai.

A source from the hospital told a news portal,” He went to MIOT hospital with his daughter in the morning. They were allotted a special ward and following a routine health check up, he was discharged in the evening.”

However, dissipating the rumours, the veteran actor’s spokesman clarified that,” Since he has been shooting abroad extensively, he just went for a regular check-up at the hospital.” Assuring that the Superstar’s perfectly healthy, he added that,” He is fine and in fact, is all set to join the team of Shankar’s 2.0 in three days for shoot again.”
