The teen icon feels the Titanic star truly deserved it

Leonardo DiCaprio had been one unlucky bloke when it came to the Oscars. He has been nominated four times for the golden statute. Leo got it first time round for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape in 1993 in the Best Supporting Actor category. Leonardo was also nominated for the Best Actor category thrice for Aviator, The Wolf of Wall Street and Blood Diamond. Finally, he won it for The Revenant.

Needless to say, many are elated with his win. Teen icon Parth Samthaan also took to Twitter to congratulate Leo. He, like many, felt that Leo was most deserving. The Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan actor is a huge buff of Hollywood films and adores actors like Tom Hanks and Russell Crowe.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s win has been lauded by everyone. We saw how his bestie Kate Winslet had tears rolling down her eyes once Leo’s name was announced. The handsome actor thanked the team of The Revenant for the win, especially co-actor, Tom Hardy. He also made a relevant point about global-warming during the event.

Parth who is gearing up for his film debut can pick up a thing or two from Leonardo. For starters, it can be patience and ability to evolve. Both these actors have a perspective of many things that concern society all over. So, it is not surprising to see Parth’s admiration for Leo – an actor who is rated as one of the best today!
