Kareena Kapoor Khan is rooting for Leonardo DiCaprio at the Oscars!

Oscars are just around the corner and like every year, people have already chosen their favourite contenders. Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the greatest actors in Hollywood, however when it comes to Oscars, he hasn’t been too lucky. There have been times when he was the clear favourite in the best actor category but hasn’t received an award as he has been snubbed by the jury. This year as well, he is in the running for the best actor award for his film The Revanant. Many actors and fans are rooting for him to win the award, but did you know one such actor is Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Kareena is a huge fan of Leonardo DiCaprio and she is also hoping to see him walk away with an Oscar this year. A source told a leading daily, “She is looking forward to seeing Leonardo bag the Oscar. She is a huge fan, and can’t wait to watch his film, The Revenant (2015), for which he has been nominated in the Best Actor category. Even though she is busy with the promotions of her next, she will take time out to watch the movie when it releases in India. Kareena feels that Leonardo should have won an Oscar much earlier in his career.”

The 41-year-old American actor has been nominated for an Academy Award six times, but has never won. As Kareena Kapoor mentioned to the daily, “I am a huge DiCaprio fan. I think he’s one of the finest actors in the world. I hope he finally gets his due at the Oscars this year.” Titanic (1997) is also her favourite movie.
