Batman Vs Superman not ruined for us! *Phew*

The much awaited superhero flick, Batman Vs Superman is going to release on 25th March and we just can’t help contain our excitement! Well, why should we? We’ll be seeing a new Batman in the form of Ben Affleck while Henry Cavil will resume his role of Superman. Could we have asked for more? Sure, we miss Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne but we can live with it. Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in the title roles, opens March 25, with a UA certificate and just one visual cut.

It is being felt that the Indian censor board has been kind to the Hollywood film.And here’s the reason why. Says a source from the Board, “The CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) was very keen that the film be seen by youngsters. But some of the content isn’t completely suitable for viewing by underage audiences. While the violence is done in the spirit of a comicbook adventure, the film was rated UA (suitable for underage viewers accompanied by an adult), with just one visual cut… of a fleeting nude figure.” Thank god the Censor Board decided to steer clear off this movie otherwise it would have had to face the wrath of the fans for sure! But yeah, nudity is still a taboo so the board cut that scene. Hopefully that shouldn’t change anything for the movie buffs.
