After Salman Khan's Sultan and Ranbir Kapoor's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, who is Anushka Sharma working with next?

The actress just announced her second production venture post the success of NH 10…

Last year Anushka Sharma stunned everyone with her first production venture, NH 10, which she starred in alongside Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumar. The film was made in a small budget, but the story was strong and hence, in an age where ‘content is king,’ the film did very well and earned a very good profit. Now, Anushka has decided to start working on her next production venture, in which she will act again. She will be seen acting opposite Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh and Life Of Pi lead actor Suraj Sharma.

She will be collaborating with Fox Star Studios, which is riding high on the success of Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja. Anushka Sharma’s production house, Clean Slate Films and Fox Star will produce Phillauri, which will be set in Punjab. The film will be directed by debutante director Anshai Lal.

Anushka Sharma revealed to a leading daily, “It took almost 100 years, a crazy Punjabi wedding and rank strangers to complete a love story; that, in a gist, is Phillauri. Now what takes 100 years? What could be the story? That you need to keep guessing. It’s got tons of humour, fun and drama as its backdrop. We, at Clean Slate, are very excited about this co-production with Fox Star Studios and promise an entertaining ride in the theatres to our audience.”

She also tweeted, “Happy 2 announce our next production venture – PHILLAURI, with @foxstarhindi & co-starring @diljitdosanjh, Suraj Sharma.”

After completing shoot for Salman Khan‘s Sultan and Ranbir Kapoor’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Anushka will work on Phillauri from April this year. Also check out Anushka’s training video from Sultan below:
