Oh no! Shahid Kapoor injures his ankle AGAIN while shooting for Padmavati

That’s definitely not good news. According to reports in Midday, Shahid Kapoor‘s ankle injury has resurfaced and he hurt it pretty bad while shooting for a sequence recently. The actor had already suffered a ligament tear in July while shooting for the film. The unit is now completing the last set of shoot and Shahid’s injury has resurfaced after shooting for some strenuous action scenes over the past few weeks. A person from the unit told the daily, “Shahid had to perform a few stunts. It has taken a toll on him and his ankles are swollen.” The source also revealed that the actor was finding it difficult to finish certain scenes in one go because of the pain.

The source also added, “This, in turn, aggravated his injury.” At this juncture, Kapoor can’t afford to take leave in order to recuperate. “The unit is racing against time to meet the deadline. It is impossible to halt the shoot at this stage. He has almost 10 days of shoot left.” Padmavati is one highly ambitious project not just for Shahid but for everyone working on the film. The cast and crew are emotionally attached to the film and are leaving no stone unturned to make it one of the best films of the year. Shahid even cut short his vacation during his daughter, Misha’s first birthday to finish his shooting schedule for the film. In fact, after his first injury in July, the actor also had to perform at IIFA 2017. After his performance at the awards night, he was rushed to the hospital after he complained of the unbearable pain. The actor went through a few physiotherapy sessions before he resumed shooting for Padmavati.

The makers had recently just revealed his first look as Maharawal Ratan Singh and the internet had a field day drooling over him.
