Friendship Day is round the corner. For those who aren’t aware when it is, let us tell you that it will fall on this Sunday, so you better make some plans to chill with your besties. They make sure to take some time out from their busy schedules to meet each other and have fun together. After all, you need friends to unwind after a hard day at work. Bollywood not only celebrates friendship onscreen but off it too with some B-towners being friends since years. So we bring to you some of the best friends from tinsel town who will give you friendship goals this week.
A friendship day feature is incomplete without these two. Their bond saw everything… love, respect, possessiveness, drama, heartbreak, split and a reunion that was celebrated by the whole industry. Right now, while everyone is predicting a film together, Shah Rukh and Salman Khan are busy doing cameos in each other’s films. The Jab Harry Met Sejal actor played a magician in Tubelight while Bhai will be seen in an important role and a song in Aanand L Rai’s next. Ask them if it was difficult to get the other for the special appearance, and both of them go, “I asked him, he said yes.” These two, we tell you! And when they are not doing that, these two keep spoiling each other. SRK gifted Salman an expensive car, so the latter walked in with Being Human E-Cycles for SRK, Aryan and Suhana at Mannat. In fact, they often visit each other at their homes and spend time discussing movies. Well, dosti ho to aisi ho varna naa ho!
What do we say about these two? Both are contemporaries but the way they bond will make you believe Bollywood friendships are not as fickle as people make it sound. Kareena Kapoor Khan–Karan Johar
This is one friendship we are really jealous of. But Karan and Kareena, too, had a fallout once when she refused to be part of Kal Ho Naa Ho. Now they are best friends, so much so that the actress had to change her whole gym closet because the filmmaker didn’t fancy her black tights that she often wore for her workout sessions. They even have a close group of friends on Whats App and the name of the group is GUTS. If that’s not enough they are often seen at each other’s parties having fun. Sigh!
Ranbir Kapoor-Ayan Mukerji
Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan have been great friends since they did Wake Up Sid together. Then came Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and you know the young director made that film keeping his best friend in mind. We have a hunch had Ranbir said no to him, YJHD might not have happened. Thank God he didn’t! They are often seen hanging out with each other. They are even doing their third film together called Dragon.
Sonam Kapoor-Jacqueline Fernandez
This friendship between these two beauties is a tight slap on the face of those who think that two actresses can’t be friends. Sonam and Jacqueline have been besties for a long time now and can give anyone friendship goals.
