Navya Naveli Nanda made her first red carpet appearance at the Vogue Beauty Awards 2017. Dressed in white gown, she looked ethereally beautiful. Accompanying her at the event were his grandparents, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and her mother Shweta Nanda. Together the four of them rocked the red carpet with their grace and elegance. However, it was Amitabh Bachchan posing with his grand daughter Navya Naveli Nanda that stole the limelight. Anyway, talking about Navya, there were strong reports of her preparing for her debut in Bollywood. And when the news of other star kids of her age announcing their debut vehicle hit the web, be it Sara Ali Khan in Kedarnath or Jhanvi Kapoor, reportedly in Sairat remake, it was anticipated that she too will be announcing the project soon but to no avail.

However, her mother, Shweta Nanda spoke about her aspirations of joining film industry, she said, “I will be worried if she plans to be an actor. I don’t think it is as easy as it looks. You have to work extremely hard, especially if you are a woman. And I wonder if she has in her to bear with all of it. Also, there is a lot of failure involved, which many people don’t see. The failure is personal, your acting skills… the way you look on screen is slashed out in open.” She also recently wrote an open letter asking media to give her daughter her “private life” back. “My children are no celebrities. Why smash them on internet for one reason or the other? Let them earn their attention on their own. It shouldn’t be just because they are related to somebody,” she had said.
