Saaho has become an obsession lately and Prabhas is supposed to be blamed for this. After Baahubali 2, we have been crushing on him like crazy and this has made every future project of his pretty alluring. Buzz suggested that Anushka Shetty will pair up with him in the film but later, it was heard that she was no longer part of the project. Since then speculations were rife about the leading actress in Prabhas’ film and finally we have the name. According to our source, Shraddha Kapoor has been confirmed to play the lead opposite the Baahubali 2 hunk.

Honestly, we too are sort of stumped here. We mean we totally didn’t see this coming. Shraddha has definitely become everyone’s favourite. Now only time will show as to how she will look opposite Prabhas, but we do agree that it will be interesting to watch the two together. We EXCLUSIVELY told you that Anushka’s weight had become an issue with the makers of the film. And later it was confirmed that she is indeed not doing the film. A source told Bollywoodlife, “Anushka was training hard for her role in Saaho. However, her weight has become a bone of contention.” Recently, they found out that the actress was 5-8 kilos overweight. So despite training really hard for the film, she lost it. Now Shraddha has been selected to step into her shoes.
