BARC Report Week 30: Khatron Ke Khiladi makes a smashing entry on the second spot, Kundali Bhagya leaves Kumkum Bhagya behind




While Star Plus retained its hold over the top spot in channels, it was Colors’ new shows Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Pain Spain and Mahakaali – Anth Hi Aarambh Hai that made great debuts on the TRP charts. The return of Rohit Shetty brought back many fans to the show. ZEE TV’s revamped Fear Files also had a fab start taking the fifth place. We are sure the makers of Kumkum Bhagya will be rejoicing as Kundali Bhagya has trumped over Kumkum. People are loving the spin off more! Chandrakanta is again getting the viewership in the weekend slot. However, Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs continued to be the No.1 show in the Urban sector. Top 10 channels (Urban)
STAR Plus, Colors, Zee TV, Sony Entertainment Television, SONY SAB, Life Ok, Sony Pal, &TV, Rishtey and Zee Anmol.


Top 10 shows (Urban)
Zee TV’s Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs was the No.1 show followed by Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Pain In Spain and Mahakali – Anth Hi Aarambh Hai. This season saw the return of Rohit Shetty as the host and fans are gaga. The contestants line-up is also exciting and Spain is proving to be an exciting destination. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was on the fourth place followed by ZEE TV’s horror show, Fear Files. The bumper opening of the new shows meant that old ones were pushed behind. Kundali Bhagya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kumkum Bhagya took the sixth, seventh and eighth spots. Remo D’Souza’s Dance Plus 3 and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki finished the top 10. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Udaan saw a huge dip this week. Ishqbaaz was the 14th place while Chandrakanta came on the 12th spot. Zee Anmol, Rishtey, Sony Pal, Zee TV, Star Utsav, Star Plus, Colors, Big Magic, Life OK and Sony Entertainment Television


Top 10 shows (Rural)
Rishtey’s Naagin 2 was the No.1 show followed by Jamai Raja and Tashan E Ishq. Sony PAL’s Baalveer took the fourth place while Kundali Bhagya was fifth. We can understand that Kumkum Bhagya’s spin-off is surely becoming a household hit. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs, Kaala Teeka, Kumkum Bhagya and CID completed the list.


The Kapil Sharma Show that ran re-runs due to the comedian’s poor health scored even below Krushna Abhishek’s The Drama Company. Pehredaar Piya Ki slipped to 0.8 but is the highest rated fiction show for the channel.
