While Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are waiting with bated breath to catch a glimpse of the superstar after his previous release Raees, which hit theatres in January, one should also note that Shah Rukh-Anushka as a pair is extremely cute and features among Bollywood’s most popular jodis of all times.

The buzz around the film is quite decent, thanks to its unusual plot and its catchy music which is well received by the audience.
Anushka Sharma made her Bollywood debut with Aditya Chopra’s romantic comedy Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The film was loved by the audience not only for its unique story and emotional connect but also for the fresh pairing in the form of SRK and Anushka. The film did a business of around 86 crores.
In 2012 came Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead. Even though Shah Rukh and Anushka did not play the romantic couple, but the film was showered with love by the audience and collected 120.65 crores at the box office.

Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which released last year, featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead and Shah Rukh Khan only in a guest appearance. The film was not a huge hit but did a fairly good business of 112.50 crores at the box office.
After Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) SRK and Anushka are back with Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry Met Sejal. It is needless to say that the expectations are huge from this one.
