Popular actor Manoj Goyal’s wife Neelima (40) committed suicide yesterday, as per reports. Manoj is the popular face of comedy serials like Golmal Hai Bhai Sab Golmal Hai, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai on Sab TV. He and his wife have an 8 year old daughter.
Neelima was reportedly depressed which is why she took the drastic step. She hung herself at the family residence yesterday, and the police have started an investigation today. Neelima has left a suicide note which reads that she was depressed and that no one should be blamed for her death. The case has been registered as suicide under accidental death at the Samtanagar police station.
As per reports on Indian Express, she took her life at their Kandivli House in Mumbai. Before taking her life, she locked herself up in the bedroom. When her daughter returned from school and found the door locked, she called the neighbours who in turn called the police. The police broke open the door only to find her hanging form the ceiling. She left a note behind stating she was under depression and that nobody should be blamed for her demise.
This news has come as a major shock as the two were known to be a happy couple. “One doesn’t get to know the family too personally while working. Manoj and Neelima were a happy couple and it’s shocking to hear the news. My condolence to the family and hope God gives strength to Manoj and his daughter to overcome the loss.”stated Manjor’s co-star by the lead daily.
