Kamal Haasan is CLUELESS that his daughter Akshara has changed her religion – check out tweet!

Akshara Haasan was recently in the news after she revealed in an interview that she has changed her religion. The actress, who used to be an atheist, has now converted to Buddhism. She revealed that she felt drawn towards Buddhism which motivated her to change her religion. Since then, Twitter started commenting on her and eventually targetting her father, Kamal Haasan. In fact, the Chachi 420 actor tweeted recently, “Hi. Akshu. Have you changed your religeon?  Love you, even if you have. Love unlike religeon is unconditional. Enjoy life . Love- Your Bapu”. While that was a very sweet thing to say, we couldn’t help but notice how Kamal Haasan seemed a little surprised with the fact that his daughter changed her religion.

But we love how accepting he is of his daughter changing her religion. The actor has been very vocal about his opinion and stand on a lot of things, be it politics or personal life. But what we loved even more was Akshara’s prompt response to the tweet. She clarified that she is still an atheist but only agrees with Buddhism. She tweeted, “Hi bapuji. No, still an atheist.
