Ayaan Zubair Rahmani to play little Bindusara in Chandra Nandini

Ayaan Zubair Rahmani to play little Bindusara in Chandra Nandini

As we had reported about the 10-year-old leap in Star Plus show Chandra Nandini, here we bring you the information as to who will be playing Chandra Gupta Maurya’ s son Bindusar. Child actor Ayaan Zubair Rehmani has been chosen to play this character. Ayaan Zubair is the brother of child actress Jannat Zubair and has done many TV shows earlier. The kid made his debut with Zee TV s Jodha Akbar where he played Salim.

Incidentally, he played King Bindusar’s son Vit Ashok in Colors show Chakravartin Samrat Ashok as well. So Ayaanwill has a similar look in Chandra Nandini as well. In fact, he was chosen because he had already played the same part in another show before. Also not just that he will play the son of Rajat Tokas yet again after Jodha Akbar. So he shares a good rapport with Rajat who also started as a child actor.

Ayan was last seen in Sony TV’s Peshwa Bajirao where he played a significant role of Chimanji Appa before the leap. Before that he had mythological shows like ‘Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman’.

With the leap the story will progress to the track of the father and son story. Chandra and Nandini will be seen at loggerheads with each other and Chankaya coming in between them. Also the track of Greek invasion and few new faces will be introduced in the show post leap.

Bindusar in the Indian Mauryan history was a significant link between Chandragupta Gupta Maurya and The Great Ashoka.
