The Veerappan director rubs salt on Mahesh Babu’s wounds
We all know Ram Gopal Varma and what he is like on Twitter. Sarcastic, cutthroat and supercritical, he doesn’t hesitate to insult anything that moves. After targeting Pawan Kalyan, Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan, he has set his sights on his new target, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu.
After the failure of Mahesh’s film Brahmotsavam, everyone is shocked and appalled, including the actor we bet. But RGV is back on his gloating mode as he fired tweets after tweets insulting the actor’s hard work for the family drama. Ramu first said that he is really happy that after this debacle, family films will not be made anymore. Then he went on mock Mahesh’s step in the song Bala Tripuramani from the movie and said that the world’s best choreographers should learn from this. Sadly, we agree with RGV on this one. Agreed, that Mahesh is not a great dancer, but seriously, what was he thinking? How could anyone not react to these appalling ‘dance’ moves other than laughing or facepalming?
Moving on, Ramu had more stink bombs up his sleeve. He added that Mahesh should understand that today’s audience only wants to watch commercial films like Aagadu, Srimanthudu and Pokiri. Also, films like Brahmotsavam will not make him a superstar like NTR and Krishna, Mahesh’s father. He is basically asking the handsome actor to step up his game if he ever wants to reach the superstardom of his father or NTR Garu.
In the end, trolls and insults aside, Ramu does have sound advice for the actor, whom he is addressing as M for some reason. But well, that is RGV for you. Also, we think that the director shouldn’t bounce so much when his own movie’s fate will be decided very soon.
The main utsavam for me is that family films will stop getting made and I want to now see Brahma devudu’s face
