As Vinod Khanna embarks on his final journey of life, Bollywood celebs step out to pay their respect at the Worli cremation ground in Mumbai, this afternoon. Amitabh Bachchan, who cancelled the promotions of Sarkaar 3 the minute he heard about Vinod Khanna’s death, arrived with son Abhishek Bachchan; whereas other celebs include Dia Mirza, Rishi Kapoor, Subhash Ghai. Vinod Khanna’s sons – Akshaye Khanna and Rahul Khanna too were seen grieving the death of their late father; especially this one picture where you can see a deeply saddened Rahul Khanna getting teary eyed as he joins the last rites. Although not many Bollywood celebs are not seen at the funeral but the whole fraternity has offered their condolences to late Vinod Khanna on Twitter. Where Shraddha tweeted, “1 of the most loved,handsome & wonderful actors.Big loss.We have lost a legend today.Will always be a http://fan.RIP  Vinod Khanna.” Akshay Kumar wrote, “Sad to learn about the passing away of #VinodKhanna Sir,one of the most charismatic actors…truly end of an era.Condolences to the family.” Sanjay Dutt, despite not being on social media issued a statement saying, “It is saddening to hear the demise of Vinod Khanna ji. I have watched him as a child and throughout my life was always fascinated by his style and charisma. He was always a thorough gentleman. A big loss to the fraternity. He is and always will be family to the Dutts. May his soul rest in peace. My deepest condolences to Kavita Bhabhi, Akshay, Rahul and Sakshi.”

Vinod Khanna was hospitalised at HN Reliance since March 31st, complaining severe dehydration. However, soon it was identified as advanced bladder cancer as the hospital authorities recently issued an official statement saying, “Veteran actor and Member of Parliament Mr. Vinod Khanna, who was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital breathed his last at 11.20 am due to advanced bladder carcinoma.”
