Deepika Padukone has returned from her US trip and it’s all for Zee Cine Awards 2017! We may have kept this as a secret from you folks but the diva will be attending the awards that’s currently happening at Jio Gardens in BKC. In case you folks didn’t know, the actress was in the US recently, we don’t really know why. We had even shared a video grab with you where foreign media had addressed her as Priyanka Chopra instead of Deepika. Anyway, the point being, the diva actually flew down for the awards show! Now isn’t that totally sweet? We just checked out mail and found that Deepika had arrived at Mumbai airport. Wearing a really cool outfit, she rushed outside the airport with a big smile on her face. Clearly, she is ecstatic to be back home! Now we do have questions over what’s cooking in her life and career but we’ll save it for the red carpet.
As you can see, for her airport outing, it was nice to see her in black Tee and pants with an olive hued jacket. She looked lovely. While we’ve been trying to read between the lines of what her T-shirt says, it has been difficult, thanks to her long tresses. Anyway, you folks can check out the airport pics while we’ll track her whereabouts at the awards function! Up until now she hasn’t reached the venue.

We were just covering the awards function that is currently happening at Jio Gardens in Bandra. So far a lot of deserving movies have taken home the trophies. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sunny Leone are already done with their performances. While a lot of celebs are still walking in for the awards, most of the winners have been announced already. We just hope that Deepika reaches the venue on time so we’re able to get a glimpse of what she has in store for the fashion police!
