5 WTF moments that we can’t get over after watching Prabhas and Rana Daggubati’s Baahubali 2 trailer

Hollywood, move aside! We have our very own epic movie to boast of. If you thought Baahubali: The Beginning was terrific, the just landed trailer of Baahubali 2 is gonna blow your mind away. Despite the comparisons with the Lord of the Rings trilogy and 300, Baahubali as a franchise is a proud achievement for our country’s cinema, as only a few film-makers have the guts to attempt. SS Rajamouli always had that grand vision when it comes to how he presents his movies, going by his previous flicks like Magadheera and Eega. With Baahubali franchise, he can proudly call himself the Peter Jackson of India.

Now we have seen the trailer over and over, and scrutinised it a million times. let’s look at five scenes in the trailer that made us our mouth go agape thanks to the sheer absurdity packaged in awesomeness.

Chalk one for feminism

BB2 1

This may be kind of a cliched shot in our movies, but from the above scene we can clearly see that though her sword has not even made contact with where it has aimed, but it was impactful enough to send so many people rolling…

The most badass chariot EVERRRR

BB2 2

Isn’t that the most freaky chariot you have seen? It’s like an unholy offspring that occurred when a JCV, a chariot and a bullock cart had a threesome!

Meet Indian Iron Fist

BB2 3

The most surprising scene of the lot. Chyavanprash ka asar?

Err… Yeh kya ho raha hai?

BB2 4

We can even tolerate that absurd stunt of Baahubali running effortlessly over the beams of the huge gate. But this is on some other level…

When Hercules met Captain America

BB2 5

Oh wait! Did I just see Baahubali go Captain America with that shield?

Baahubali: The Conclusion is scheduled to release on April 28.
