Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is literally the face of Cannes Film Festival in India. The actress is very well to promote the prestigious film festival. In fact, every year as the day of the event comes, we wait in anticipation and wonder how she will surprise us. Although there have been several occasions on the red carpet where Ash’s charm hasn’t really worked well and sometimes, disastrous results have also made their way to us. Even this year, as the 69th Cannes International Film Festival was nearing, our anticipation literally skyrocketed as we wondered how the diva would stun us!
This being her 15th time on the red carpet of one of the most prestigious film festivals, Ash clearly chose to play safe. The golden embellished cape gown was simple and beautiful but you can clearly say that she was playing safe. The Sarbjit actress chose to don an Ali Younes couture on the big day. Although, I must say that the intricate applique work has been done quite well and she is looking quite regal, with the metallic blue eye shades and the gown as well, you cannot miss out on the fact that it wasn’t as wow as we had expected from her. We also got pictures of her interacting with her friends and acquaintances. Ash is here to attend the ‘Slack Bay (Ma Loute)’ premiere that is happening today.
