Vahbiz Dorabjee is back on TV after quite some time as Maggie Kant on Bahu Humari Rajni Kant. The lady was last seen on Saraswatichandra as Alak Kishori. It is a comedy show and has got a lot of appreciation in the first week due to its refreshing content. Bahu Humari Rajni Kant got a TRP of 1, which is very good for Life Ok channel.

In an exclusive conversation, Vahbiz tells us, “I feel the role of Maggie was tailor-made for me. Initially, someone else was supposed to play the character but then she was replaced. I read the script and reported on the sets the next day. What I love about it is that it’s a comedy show. There is no rona-dhona. I know Aamir and Sonali Jaffar from a long time. Sonali Ma’am is one of the best writers in the industry. She also wrote my first show, Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani.”

The bubbly lady who describes herself as mad crazy Parsi says that her team is also a crazy bunch. “We have no inhibitions. The cast is a crazy one and we share brilliant chemistry. We are a mad group that has lots of fun.”

Many feel Vahbiz’s sunny persona makes her a great fit for comic roles but she says she’s willing to do all types of roles. “I have got good feedback for the show. It has a sci-fi concept. People are saying it is a lot like Small Wonder, a show I grew up watching. They are finding Bahu Humari Rajni Kant funny and cute.”
