Kapil Sharma on inviting Shah Rukh Khan to his new show: I did call him but he did NOT answer!

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan might come as a guest on comedian Kapil Sharma’s new show to promote his upcoming film Fan. Rumour mills are abuzz that SRK may also appear on the first episode of the The Kapil Sharma Show. ”Even I heard he will come on the show. I did call him but he did not answer. We are doing a live show in Delhi first. He (SRK) is from Delhi and has Fan releasing soon so he might come. We would love to have him on the show,” Kapil said.

Several celebrities including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar had come to promote their respective films on Kapil’s previous show Comedy Nights with Kapil. It was this show which made the 34-year-old actor comedian a household name. Due to reported differences between Kapil and Colors channel, the two went their own ways. Kapil even reacted to the differences faced saying, “Moving on in life is important. We disagreed on some matters. Upasna Singh(who played Bua) had contract issues so she had to stay back. But I will take life as it comes. Very few comedians have a great timing like my team.”

Now, Kapil is gearing up for The Kapil Sharma Show, which will be aired on Sony TV. The promo of the show was released yesterday and word is that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor too will be seen on the new show promoting their film Ki And Ka. Stay tuned for more updates.
