Kapil Sharma is one comedian turned actor who we loved to laugh at or laugh with on Television with Comedy Nights With Kapil. For three years, he left us in splits. Yes, we agree over the period of time, the gags were running dry and none of his puns were making us chuckle. Even then we didn’t expect the channel and the actor to get into such an ugly mess that the show was abruptly called off. Immediately, the channel brought in a new show based almost on the same format with Krushna Abhishek as the host. Bharti Singh is also part of this set up. The show is called Comedy Nights Live and the maiden episode had Krushna trying to make people laugh at the expense of Kapil Sharma. Not many found it funny but the show gradually picked up. So when Kapil was asked to react on the same, he replied in such a manner that Krushna will have to take note!
Today, Kapil launched his new show with his old gang The Kapil Sharma Show. While interacting with the media, he was asked to comment on Krushna’s move to take digs at him on the first episode of Comedy Nights Live and he said, “I want to entertain everyone. We will not retaliate by taking digs at Krushna. This is not my idea of entertainment.” OUCH! That must have hurt Krushna!
Kapil isn’t so popular for just his jokes but for his wit too and this is the proof.
