Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy Menon’s Charlie sweeps the Kerala State Film Awards!

 The movie grabs accolades in over 7 categories


The Kerala State Film Awards were announced by the Kerala State Minister for Forest Transport, Sports, Environment, and Cinema Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on Tuesday.


Dulquer Salmaan won Best Actor for Charlie and Parvathy walked away with Best Actress for Charlie and Ennu Ninte Moideen. The film Charlie also won the Best Director award for director Martin Prakkat.




Charlie seemed to be the favourite film of the year as it won in many other categories as well like Best Scriptwriter and Best Art Director. The movie is very intriguing and has many layers to it, though it is a romantic entertainer.


Ennu Ninte Moideen also took many awards, especially for music and sound.
