The night when the superstar met his most ardent fans to launch the trailer about a film where he is both the star and the fan!

It’s quite ironical that the makers of Fan have chosen to launch the trailer among Shah Rukh Khan’s fans when the film is about the clash about a fan and his idol!

YashRaj studios opened their doors to the public for the first time for the trailer launch of Fan, with hundreds of SRK admirers thronging the premises and waiting fervently for the superstar to arrive. When the man finally made his grand entrance into the venue, all hell broke loose at the place, with fans screaming and shouting the actor’s name. Before the trailer was launched online, the fans were given an exclusive glimpse of the promo, and they loved it! When the actor came onto the stage, he thanked every fans of his for the wonderful support they have given him. He even folded his hands in respect and even gestured to bow and touch their feet.

He said, “In times of happiness, in hard times, in times when I launch films, I look up to you, so thank you!”

He also explained the reason for the film’s existence, “When I met Maneesh a few years ago, he said this is only one film that I want to make. If I make this film, I will have achieved everything. So we have tried very hard to make it the best. To end my monologue, I want to say thanks to all you fans for making me the star I am!”
