Comedy Nights Live makes a mark on the TRP charts!

Despite the hullabaloo around it, the performers have managed to entertain and how!

They say that fortune favours the brave. A lot of people raised eyebrows when Krushna Abhishek stepped into Kapil Sharma’s house. The decision to replace Comedy Nights with Kapil with Comedy Nights Live was not an easy one for the channel, and especially daunting for the man who stepped in Krushna Abhishek. Earlier known as Govinda’s nephew, he has come into his own since few years with his impeccable acts in Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights Bachao and now Comedy Nights Live.

The show has recorded a TRP of 3.2, which makes it the third ranked show on the channel after Naagin and Sasural Simar Ka. It is no mean feat considering the negativity that Krushna faced before the show went on air. The first episode also had its detractors.

In fact, the entire team also cut a cake recently and judge Mika Singh thanked the fans. The Comedy Nights Live team has Bharti Singh, Upasna Singh, Sudesh Lehri and Purbi Joshi. The last episode of Comedy Nights with Kapil had a TRP of 1.8.

It is indeed a time to celebrate for Krushna, Bharti and Sudesh as Comedy Nights Bachao also has a TRP of above 2 since its launch. We are sure it must be doubly difficult having to make people laugh on two consecutive comedy shows on the weekend.

Numbers don’t lie and it looks like Comedy Nights Live is here to stay. Do we see the Kapil Sharma and Krushna Abhishek tussle intensifying post this?
