Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha kickstart 96 today

After working on multiple projects, Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha are now kick starting a brand new project – 96. This is their first project together! Fans are super kicked about as two interesting actors are coming together! AS per reports on TOI, Vijay Sethupathi will play wildlife photographer. The film was launched today with a traditional pooja. The film will mark the debut of Premkumar. No further details of this story have been divulged. Trisha has taken to social media to celebrate her first day on the sets of 96. Dressed in a full sleeved traditional suit, Trisha looked pretty yet chic. The makers had released the first look title logo poster of this upcoming film. On a closer look, the number 96 has a lot going on. Considering the movie is set in the 90s, we are wondering if it has to do with the trends going on in that era? Reportedly 96 plays an important role in this light hearted film. In other news, Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi have multiple projects in their kitty. There’s Mohini – a horro comedy movie wherein she plays a chef and a ghost, then there’s the sequel to Sathuranga Vettai, a 2014 hit movie where she will play a grey character opposite Arvind Swamy. She will also be making her Malayalam debut soon with Hey Jude also starring Malayalam superstar Nivin Pauly. She will also be part of 1818, a film based on the terror events of 26/11. She will also be part of the Tamil remake of NH10. And she is reuniting with Chiyaan Vikram after 14 years for Saamy 2. As for Vijay Sehtupathi, he will soon be seen in Vikram Veda opposite R M,adhavn. The film is currently in its post production stage. He was last seen in Kavan that opened to positive reviews.
