There is no doubt in the fact that Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest superstars of the world. His unprecedented fan following is the proof of that. Today was special for the Jab Harry Met Sejal star as not only he celebrated Eid with his fans and media personels, the also marked his 25 years in the Bollywood. Yes, his first film Deewana had released on June 25, 1992. As usual, like every year, fans gathered outside Shah Rukh Khan’s house to wish him Eid mubarak as well as join him on this special day, after all it’s his fans who have been a part of his 25 glorious years.
Taking to Instagram, he posted a video of fans gathered outside Mannat and captioned it, “Eid Mubarak! Thank you for making my day special. Talking to media personnel at his Eid bash, Shah Rukh Khan was asked about the success of his first film and the very first reaction of the time when he realised he is no more a rookie and has become a big star. He revealed it was Rakesh Roshan, with whom he was working in King Uncle, who first predicted and told him about his super-stardom. Revealed Shah Rukh, “The first reaction I got for Deewana was when I was doing King Uncle. Rakesh ji (director) said, ‘Bada star ban gaya tu.’” Also read: Did you know Salim Khan and Rakesh Roshan were the first ones to predict Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom after Deewana’s success?
Well not just Rakesh Roshan, but Salim Khan too hummed the same tune when he narrated that, “Salim Khan went to a salon and heard someone asking for a Shah Rukh Khan haircut, so he also said, ‘Janaab aap bahut bade star ban gaye.’”
Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry Met Sejal, which is up for August 4, 2017.
