Anushka Sharma, Hrithik Roshan, Swara Bhaskar: meet the worst-dressed celebs of the week

Quite a lot of events took place this week. Starting from the Zee Cine Awards 2017 to the Nykaa beauty awards. As expected, Bollywood celebs made their way to the events, looking (or trying to look) their best for the red carpet. But alas, not many were successful in this endeavour. While many lacked the punch, many lacked a good stylist! Well, this week, we got some fashion offenders who did exactly what we didn’t want them to do, don something outrageous. In this week’s list, we had to shortlist it to five as there were quite a few. The reason being simple, we want these stars to pull up their socks. Adding the others in the list would be giving them attention they certainly don’t deserve (after their hideous looks, definitely not).

So yes, for this week, we got Anushka Sharma, Hrithik Roshan, Swara Bhaskar, Saiyami Kher and Sonali Bendre. If their outfits were good, then the styling made it terrible. And when the styling was onpoint, the outfiuts were a miss. This is the sad paradox the celebs this week had to deal withy. Even the ones we’ve chosen fell victim to the same. While we liked Anushka’s outfit, the rest of the look combined was total drab. Same goes for Sonali Bendre. But some sadly donned terrible ensembles to begin with. Anushka Sharma
Outfit: Diesel

Sorry but we almost mistook the glitter on Anushka’s hair to be dandruff. of course, we soon realised it’s glitter. Nevertheless, the cringed expression on our face remains as the shimmery ensemble hasn’t been styled tastefully. Do you agree with us?

Swara Bhaskar
Outfit: Manish Malhotra gown

Swara’s tangerine affair was one we don’t want to remember. The Manish Malhotra gown was bad in terms of fitting and the way it was styled was also terrible. Let’s point out exactly what went wrong here. The ill-fitted bust wasn’t our only problem but so was the hairdo. Made her look very erm, disastrous.

Saiyami Kher
Outfit: Karoline Lang

That was one drab outfit! Kher chose to wear the look for Zee Cine Awards and thank god they weren’t giving worst dressed award at the red carpet because this one could’ve easily won. Unless it was pitted against Sonali Bendre’s sari ensemble. The gown was dull and drab and so was the complete look.

Hrithik Roshan

Perhaps Roshan forgot that he was supposed to attend a red carpet event. Because wearing that outfit and a beanie of all things was the stupidest decision made by him or his stylist!

Sonali Bendre
Outfit: Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

There were too many flashy elements like feathers, ruffles, that made the look very noisy. Now we’re big fans of Bendre’s fashion for she keeps it really tasteful. However, looks like it was a miss for her. Perhaps if she chose for a more sober blouse or opted for a ruffle-less sari, it would’ve balance well.
