Veerappan song Khallas: This tame Zarine Khan number reminds you of how awesome the original was!

The trailer of Ram Gopal Varma’s latest m0vie Veerappan has made every one sit up.

After a long time, it feels like Ram Goapl Varma is back. His latest movie’s Veerapan which is based on Asia’s feared dacoit has delivered a hard-hitting punch. The realistic portrayal of Veerappan by Sandeep Bharadwaj has impressed everyone and give us some major chills. There’s a lot of head crushing and animal cruelty so be ready for gore and blood shed. It really makes you want to hate this ruthless man, who had created havoc. Now another song from this movie is out and it is the reprised version of the song Khallas from Company.

The song is raw, animalistic and aggressive, in a way it sort of symbolises the jungle. It stars Zarine Khan who plays a woman who really understands Veerappan. Although her look is very different, she seemed a little too aggressive and angry. And she’s not really dancing or showcasing any impressive moves. Also this version is slower than the original. Although, it’s talking about the crazy jungles and Veerappan, it seems more restrained, beat and rhythm wise. it doesn’t make you really forget the original Khallas. In fact, it makes you go back to the original and love it even more!

Although the trailer has been impressive, the songs have not really created an effect. Veer Veer Veerappan totally ruined the Jungle Book song for us and Muchi Re was no great shakes either.
