Varun Dhawan asks Alia Bhatt if it was AWKWARD to comeback together after two years - watch video!

For all those who were eagerly waiting for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania sequel here’s the latest update…

Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar have initiated a social media campaign for their next movie. The trio has constantly been tweeting about Badrinath Ki Dulhania and have promised that they would share the first look from the movie today. And Alia just posted a video of Varun and her that shows the duo’s awesome chemistry. And it’s strange that in this video we see Varun actually quizzing Alia is it’s ‘AWKWARD’ coming back together? Well, we bet that there is indeed some tension considering that the duo kind of went separate ways after their last hit movie together. Blame it on work or then their individual personal relationships, both Alia and Varun have not really been spotted together.

Buzz was that Alia’s boyfriend and Student Of The Year co-star Sidharth Malhotra wasn’t very pleased with his ladylove’s fondness for Varun. No wonder both Alia and Sidharth did not attend Varun’s starry birthday bash last month. Anyway coming back to the video, unlike the last time there is a certain distance between Varun and Alia, but we bet once they start filming the two stars will ease up and rekindle their friendship. After all it is their awesome chemistry on screen and a hit filmography together that has made the makers rope them together for BKD.

After Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan walked out of Karan Johar’s much hyped Shhuddhi last year. After much delay Salman Khan was roped in, but soon afterwards news of Alia-Varun stepping in to Hrithik-Kareena’s characters. But after Shhuddhi got shelved Karan Johar surprised fans of these two actors by planning a sequel to Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Now that Varun and Alia have just given us a sneak peek at their off camera chemistry we cannot wait to see what the duo spins on the 70mm.
