The Telugu superstar has big plans for his village

The day the people of Burripalem had been waiting for is finally here. The biggest superstar of Tollywood – Mahesh Babu has graced their village. But it was a very special moment for the actor too, for it was nothing short of a homecoming for him, because Burripalem is his native village after all!

The village of Burripalem became a carnival land as the actor entered his native place after a really long time. Mahesh even posted a picture on his official Twitter handle which showed him arriving in the village. It shows the actor in an open jeep as he is waving to the huge crowd who have gathered around him just to get a little glimpse.

As planned, the handsome actor then went on to inaugurate the schools and healthcare facilities in his native place, as his wife Namrata Shirodkar had discussed a month or two back. He had been planning on developing Burripalem for a really long time, but because of his commitments around his next release – Brahmotsavam, he could not make time to visit. In fact, the shoot for the family drama finished right on the day of the audio launch. And as soon as the function was over, Mahesh headed to his native place to bring about some much needed development.

It is truly remarkable that an actor of Mahesh Babu’s calibre has such a philanthropic side in him. Stay tuned as we bring you more updates on his work in the village.
