Mika Singh slapgate: The singer has been granted bail and fined with Rupees 40000 by the court!

B-Town celebs and controversy are inseparable. And singer Mika is a controversy favourite. He was involved in a slapgate controversy where he allegedly assaulted a fan (doctor) with a slap during a concert.

A case against the singer had been filed at Inderpuri police station. He was charged with causing hurt and wrongful restraint by the Delhi police. The victim suffered internal injuries- his eardrum was damaged by the force of the attack. A video of the incident made its way to internet and went viral.

Now, a year post the incident, Patiala house court has granted bail to singer Mika Singh in a case pertaining to allegedly slapping doctor Shrikant at concert in Delhi. The singer has also been asked to provide personal bond of Rs 20,000 & same amount of surety, reports ANI.He has also been fined 40,000 by the court.

Today is a great day, for justice is prevailing in the Indian judiciary system. Earlier justice was served in the Keenan and Reuben murder when court announced punishment of life imprisonment for the guilty.

This is not the first time Mika faced police charges. His first engagement with controversy came long back when he forcibly kissed Rakhi Sawant during his birthday celebration. The reality TV star was horrified by this and filed a complained against the singer. This caused quite a stir across the nation, giving rise to two new names to the controversy regulars list.
