Breaking! Shah Rukh Khan confirms Raees to release on January 26, 2017!

Shah Rukh Khan‘s most anticipated film, Raees grabbing too much attention post its teaser video. With handsome Khan taking on the alcohol business to an all new level, surely he raised a lot of expectations of fans. While his movie Fan that released in April didn’t do well at box office, fans’ faith in the actor sure was reinstated. Hence the wait for Raees became more excruciating! However, looks like the wait is gonna be a little more than that! If you folks remember, we were the first ones to break the news that Raees and Salman Khan’s Sultan were NOT to clash at the box office this Eid. Little did anyone except the movie to be pushed so far, with a view have a clear opening, that it entered the 2017 year’s release list! Yes, we just exclusively found out that the film will not be releasing this year.

In a joint statement issued by Shah Rukh Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar they’ve stated, “It was not an easy decision to move the film. We understand that ‘Raees’ is highly anticipated. However, a film of such magnitude requires the appropriate showcasing and therefore, we have decided to shift our release date to 26th January 26, 2017. As we already know, this year is packed with a lot of releases by a lot of A-Listers so the movie-goers are in for a treat. However, learning that SRK’s film directed by Rahul Dholakia is going to be a cinematic bliss as well, it would be unfair for the film to clash with others this year. With Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan etc taking away all the holiday weekends, finding a befitting date for Raees did become a challenge.
