If I say Sunny Leone is one of the most sought after actresses in the industry, will I be fibbing? I am confident enough to say I am right in my statement. I am not be her fan or the kind of roles she does, but I cannot deny the fact that she is a force to reckon with. Her acting ability may still not be on par with the many other actresses in the industry, nor is she the  box office queen.

After Ek Paheli…Leela, her last couple of films haven’t fared well at the box office. But she still draws enough attention whenever she makes headlines, and she has a huge fan following. She is also known to sweetly speak out her mind and be calm in the face of a storm, especially when there are attacks on her past like Rakhi Sawant’s infamous mudslinging of her character, or Bhupendra Chaubey’s notorious interview of hers.

She has a past, one she doesn’t deny and is not even ashamed of, because it’s our curiosity of that past of hers that gave her the Bollywood break. But it’s not that she only did porn films before she entered Bollywood. She was part of a few feature films, some even dubious ones, and even pop songs. And yes, they are not exactly porn!

In this 2003 SyFy Hollywood flick (you know those flicks that have a terrible CGI monster, silly special effects, terrible acting and laughable script), Sunny Leone plays what IMDB terms as Hot Tub Hussy. Yes, she doesn’t even have a name in the name. But she does get to disrobe in the film, only to get killed by the monstrous CGI scorpion, as spoilt by the trailer below…From this unnamed side character to playing the lead role in another horror flick that people actually heard of in Ragini MMS 2, Sunny Leone surely has travelled a long way…

Pirates’ Blood

In this Indo-American collaboration, that is yet another pathetic attempt at horror, Sunny Leone plays one of the leads in the film opposite Malayalam actor Nishanth Sagar. For all Sunny fans, yes, she is given ample opportunities to strip and even take a bath in the ocean. The Virginity Hit

In this Adam McKay and Will Ferrell-produced mockumentary style comedy, a group of friends decide to make a documentary of their only virgin friend, losing his ‘cherry’. The Girl Next Door

I have a very soft corner for this 2004 romantic flick about a nerdy boy who falls in love with the girl next door, only to find out that she is a former pornstar. There is a scene in the film where the hero and his friends follow his object of affection to an adult convention. In this particular scene, while the friends are roaming around the place, you could catch a glimpse of Sunny Leone just behind them in a blink-and-you-miss appearance. Ja Rule’s Livin’ It Up

In rapper and sometimes actor Ja Rule’s song Livin It Up, Sunny Leone plays the main glam girl (you know…the one girl whose only purpose in the video is to show off her curves wriggling around the singer), in the video, and all she has to do was look alluring.
