It comes after every four years and we are still reeling under its effect…

Leap year happens after four years. I still remember as a kid, a classmate of mine used to rue that since his birthday fell on February 29, and it would come only once in four years. Well, I did feel for him but never gave much thought to it. Till yesterday, it was just an additional date in a calendar for me but Feb 29, 2016 will forever be the best extra day I have spent in any year. And for that I have Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Leonardo DiCaprio to thank. Let me tell you how…

#PC’s Oscar debut! 

I think it is Priyanka Chopra’s mission to make us proud every day. If her blockbuster debut on American Television with Quantico wasn’t enough to make us gloat, her presence at Oscars 2016 as a presenter made us dizzy with happiness. Yesterday, Liev Schreiber and PC jointly gave away the Best Editing award. She looked priceless in a white Zuhair Murad strapless gown. But it is her jewellery that made everybody go bonkers. They were worth $8 million! Well, her achievement deserved much more dazzle than those jewels. She already began shooting for Baywatch movie with Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson…now I don’t know how more proud can I feel.

#Leo gets it finally! 

There was a lot of conjecture on whether or not Leonardo DiCaprio will finally take the Oscar home after missing it for so many years. The Revenant was one of the prime winners of Oscar yesterday and Leo’s win made everyone ecstatic. Yes, there have been many occasions earlier when Leo lost it to other contenders despite delivering superb performances but this time, the Golden Statute belonged just to him. Indians still identify him as Titanic wala hero and will always be that  even if he has done a plethora of awesome movies. He is one of my early crushes, Jack Dawson, the man who died to save his love. 88th Academy Awards thus culminated on a celebratory note!

#Shah Rukh Vs Shah Rukh! 

The end should always be powerful, it is believed and trust only Shah Rukh Khan to give you that. He released the trailer of Fan along with 4000 of his fans and it is crazily good. Snatches of Darr and Baazigar will be back to haunt you when you watch it. Love to obsession…that’s how Fan unfolded and the superstar made us go crazy! It has everything, thrill, intrigue, explosion and a brilliant face off!

I will now wait for yet another February 29 to arrive and make the extra day seriously COUNT!
