Rocky Handsome had a fair opening weekend at the Box Office. Including the Paid Previews, the film has brought in 15* crore at the Box Office. The film benefited from the Good Friday holiday at certain places. However, Sunday evening shows were impacted big time due to the crucial T-20 match between India and Australia.
The film had to contend with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on one end and Kapoor And Sons on the other. Now the weekdays would need to be super strong for the film to bring in good numbers before close of first week. The film’s action has been appreciated and that would be key to the Box Office moolah it brings in the single screens and the interiors.
Kapoor & Sons is enjoying a terrific run and has brought in 13 crore* more in the second weekend. The film has now scored 60 crore* in just 10 days and now all set to emerge as a Superhit soon. It would stay on in multiplexes right through the week and bring in moolah. It would be interesting to see if 70 crore is achieved by the end of second week itself.
