Priyanka Chopra has been busy shooting for the second half of Quantico season one in Montreal, but she always removes some time to interact with media, friends and even her fans. The actress has been juggling between ABC’s popular show and Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron’s Baywatch, but she is back on the sets of Quantico for now. She was getting ready for the morning shoot of the hit show, when she had a chat with the editor of a famous magazine and during the informal chat, she made some revelations that prove that she is AWESOME! Here is what she had to say:

On if west still sees us as reinforcing stereotyping in our movies

Priyanka Chopra (PC): That’s a big reason why I want to be a part of global cinema, break stereotypes and educate about Hindi films. But what is someone’s stereotype is someone’s tradition. It’s all about perspective.

On how a 17 year old girl moved from a small town to Bollywood and then to Hollywood in just 15 years

PC: I like winning.. Lol. Don’t know where I was going but I knew I want to win, still the same.

On actors in the West talking about parity in pay scales

PC: And so have we here. It’s a global problem and change will happen with equality. Feminism needs men to join the movement.

On what’s so special about being a baddie in Baywatch

PC: Not special. Deluded because unfortunately goodness is so underrated. But it gives creating a character new dimensions. Also Bad ass is good!! Bad is bad!! But playing it is so goooood! Cause I don’t think I can be too bad in real life.

On Three roles that empowered the leading lady in Hindi cinema

PC: Chaalbaaz, Beta, Black… And soooo many more! Awesome time for female actors. #womensday

On impact of social media and box office figures on the actors in the west

PC: A lot. But again I think that’s the direction of marketing globally. Digital is the future.

On choosing between Quantico and Baywatch!

PC: Haha. I’m shooting them together but honestly I’m an actor. The size of the screen doesn’t matter..
