Pernia Qureshi and Sonam Kapoor’s friendship goes way back. The two, who may not be able to spend a lot of time together due to duty calls but their Insta updates let us know when they catch up for a chat or may be a pyjama party.

Pernia, who was hosting one of the sessions at the Make In India Week, talked to BollywoodLife exclusively to share the details of Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming label which will be released soon in collaboration with a popular retail chain. Pernia also owns Pernia Pop-Up Shop which makes luxury clothing more accessible to the masses so when her friend is stepping into this unchartered territory; Pernia is going all out to support it. “She’s coming with a masstige brand. Masstige brand as far as I believe is for the masses but it is still very nice in terms of design. I think it’s a great idea as somebody like her who has a strong sense of fashion she is now using that to develop something which tangible and she is now monetising it At the same time she is providing great clothes at a great price in fact as a customer as a consumer I am looking forward to that brand I want to wear it,” she said.

When asked if she managed to get a sneak peek of the collection we have all been waiting for, she quipped, “I have seen a little bit here and there. It is SUPER COOL. I mean I don’t expect anything less out of Rhea and Sonam.”
