Sarbjit is going to be one really interesting film. Not just because it stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda in lead toles. But because it leans onto a heart-wrenching story on the life of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted and sentenced to death for terrorism and spying in Pakistan. We’re sure director Omung Kumar will picture this in a way that’ll make our hearts heavy. However, right now you need to check out these intriguing pictures of Randeep as Sarabjit and Ash as Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur from the film. Don’t you think it narrates a story in itself?

The more Randeep looks happier as a farmer. Ash looks equally sad in the above picture. We believe this contrasting image is a deliberate move to give us a gist of what the film is going to look like. Quite a captivating move, must say. But having said that, we still can’t get over Randeep’s drastic makeover which was released a few days back. For all that we know, Randeep will be seen essaying two phases of Sarbjit – one where he’s seen as a farmer from his happier times; and the other phase that’ll bleed misery in jail, eventually leading to his merciless death.

Sarbjit will be narrated through Ash aka Dalbir’s eyes who went door to door, knocking for her brother’s justice, which only explains how the film will keep you on the edge of your seats until the last minute.
