Shane Warne got bitten by an ANACONDA - watch video!

Shane Warne is a face very well known thanks to his cricket career and his affair with model/actress Elizabeth Hurley. This Aussie won several hearts in India as well because of his outstanding performance as the captain of IPL’s team Rajasthan Royals. Having retired from cricket, Warne has been into a lot of other things now including being a part of a reality television show, I’m A Celebrity… Get me Out Of Here!. But that reality show surely has cost the former cricketer some health perils as he got bitten by an anaconda!

Turns out as a part of this reality TV show, Warne was supposed to put his face inside a box full of reptiles. That definitely didn’t go down well with the reptiles as one of the baby anacondas bit him on his head! The good news is that he is safe and there’s nothing to worry as such. As per TheStuff.com, the executive producer of the show Stephen Tate quoted, “The juvenile anaconda is the one that actually struck Shane. It’s non-venomous but very aggressive. Anacondas have 100 rear-facing teeth. Being bitten by one is like getting 100 hypodermic needles at once. Shane has made no secret that snakes are one of his greatest fears so it’s amazing that after being bitten he bravely continued with the trial. When Shane puts his mind to a task, he won’t let anything stop him.”

While the former cricketer is currently being treated on the stricken area, he still has the marks from the bite. However, there won’t be any permanent effect on the face. Damn. Talk about pissing someone off! Warne totally seemed to have hit the right nerve as the reptile sure took it personally and struck him. Do not miss the video of the same! We’ve attached it here.
