The Zee Cine Awards 2016 that was aired tonight was no less star studded. Industry’s big faces starting from Salman Khan to Ranveer Singh, everyone made their presence felt not just on the red carpet but also on the stage. The evening’s hosts, Shahid Kapoor and Karan Johar started on a quippy note and needless to say, maintained the same mood for the rest of the evening. Even performances by Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra and not to forget Arjun Kapoor’s high heels bit, was all in all, very entertaining. While most of the awards were swept away Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh made sure that he made the evening memorable for all with his funny antiques! #Shahid Kapoor and Karan Johar’s Shaandaar and Bombay Velvet banter was quite entertaining. Too many burn scenes took place but hey, it was hilarious so hands down!

#Parineeti Chopra’s performance on songs of her contemporaries was super good! Not only did she use the stage really well but also didn’t shy on using her industry friends, Shraddha Kapoor and others’ songs. Truly a sport!

#Anil Kapoor proving Shahid and Karan that he’s all young and hot blooded! His performance on songs of all young boys of B-Town was so brilliant. Yes, we believe you now that you’re all young and peppy!

#Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh’s high heels face off. Let’s accept it, these two bros were quite the shiz because they sportingly danced on the track of Ki and Ka wearing women’s heels.

#Sushant Singh Rajput’s tribute to Shah Rukh Khan was truly phenomenal! If SRK would’ve been there, he too would’ve said so.

#Yo Yo Honey Singh’s performance on his songs was a treat to the eyes. After quite a while, Honey Singh performed at an event and it was every bit entertaining. In fact, he also made Kriti Sanon groove a little to his songs!

#Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone facetiming when she won the award for Best Actress and Singh went to accept it on her behalf. Aww! That one was so damn cute. These two cuties wouldn’t stop making us swoon!
