After the awesome sauce real life drama Airlift, Akshay Kumar is back as a decorated officer to wow us in Rustom. He plays a naval officer in the film and judging by the first look of this motion poster, we assure you that watching this movie will be one hell of an experience for the film has all the elements to be an excellent potboiler.

The motion poster mysteriously states about the ‘three shots that changed his life’. Well, Akshay plays a decorated officer and a complete family man even in this flick while Ilena D’cruz plays his wife. The film has a lot of drama and mystery attached to it and will sure keep us hooked on till its end. It is directed by Neeraj Pandey and is inspired by the Nanavati murder case which rocked the nation in the late 50s.

In the year 1959, a naval Commander Kawas Maneckshaw Nanavati killed his wife’s lover in cold blood and later confessed to his crime. It seems that Akshay plays the ‘honourable killer’ in the flick. Well we know for sure that the movie will have a happy end as officer Nanavati was pardoned by law in 1962 after which he reunited with his wife and kids and moved to Canada.
